travel envy: montreal
I've been totally enamored with Anthony Bourdain's new show, The Layover. A recent episode had Tony enjoying bagels, farmers markets, food bookstores, smoked meat and orange juleps that is a small part of the beauty of Montreal.

museum of the moving image
Image from here.
The Museum of the Moving Image hosted a super fun exhibit on the work on Jim Henson. I especially like the footage of the his early commercial work, like Mr. Linit (below):

evergreen winner
Heather sent me a photo of herself in the shawl she won - looks great! (photo by Anna Hurley)
Oh - and there is a pretty funny interview with Isaiah Mustafa (aka the Old Spice Guy) on NPR. Click here to listen and here for a bevy of You Tube videos where he personally thanks individual fans. Hilarious!

nine-oh

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've probably seen every episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 so when I found these European display windows, I was more than a little excited. I think Dylan is my favorite (he's soooo deep...):

lost underground art show

I'm usually not a big tv watcher, but I love LOST. Unfortunately, I just found out about the now closed LOST underground art show at Gallery 1988 but here are some of my favorite pieces...it will have to tide me over until February 2nd when the last season premieres!
