I'm thinking I might need to investigate other NYC flea markets...the Brooklyn flea always leaves me a bit underwhelmed. Any suggestions?

78th street baby!! I grew up there. The old stuff is inside, where you can also witness where I ate lunch in middle school. Amazing.
The garage / 26th Street & 6th (not sure exactly) and there is one on the upper west side on Columbus around the Nat'l History Museum that is funky and has some neat stuff.
