sf: fort baker
It was a beautiful Saturday here in the bay area, and the first time I had left the house in four days (damn you, sniffles!). Jeff had recently eaten dinner at the newish Cavallo Point Lodge, and thought the property was truly stunning. Cavallo Point is located at Fort Baker, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Fort Baker was established as a US Army base in 1866 and remained active through World War II.
