nyc: whitney and moma

I explored the Whitney Biennial with Hannah and Marina - a much need respite from the recycled air and fluorescent lighting of the Jacob Javits Center. Since I'm not super into video art and installation, my favorite pieces at the show were bright floral drawings from Charles Ray, and re-interpreted still life's from Lesley Vance.
On my own, I visited MoMA to see a retrospective of one of my favorite photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson. It was a really beautiful exhibit with about 300 photographs taken all over the world.
