On the way to the Morris-Jumel Mansion, we walked through Sylvan Terrace, originally the carriage path leading up to the mansion. The small one-block street is lined on both sides by twenty 19th century wooden row houses built in 1882. It's pretty amazing that all twenty homes are still intact.
